A Largess Bag
My home Barony of Dragon's Laire was asked to create the largess bags for TRMs for their trip to Estrella War this year.
This is my contribution to the embroidery effort. The basic motif was taken from a 14th century tile and the rest was just me adding swirls and quilting until there was nothing left to do.
I am especially fond of the quilting, which echoes the bag from March/April 2009.
As usual, this is perl cotton on fulled wool. The bag will be made into a satchel style with strap.
