Baroness Brighid Gift Bags
Brighid, the Baroness of Dragons Laire, my home barony, is being elevated to the Noble Order of the Pelican at An Tir's 2008 12th Night. She hatched a mighty scheme whereby she would have almost forty gift bags to hand out to those who helped her along her path to the Pelican. She begged for help from the Barony and many of us took home at least two bags to applique and embroider.
I took home these four and decided to count them all as one entry for my November/December 2007 project. The black bags are appliqued with the Brighid's Cross and the red bags are appliqued with chicken heas o fmy very own design. The Baroness and I have a thing for chickens.
As with all the previous projects, this is fulled wool appliqued onto a fulled wool background and then embroidered with pure abandon. Very fun!
