These are pictures of various things I have done from 1999 (and earlier) to 2000.

Coronation dress based on the Ditchly Portrait of Queen Elizabeth I. Check out those handsome and haughty Cavlier types lounging in the backgournd! Not exactly a period costume but it's a cute picture of my son... click here to go to his website!

My "Russian" costume from the 16th Century. All of the gold cord was made by hand based on period examples.
This is a dress based on the Phoenix portrait but worn with a de Medici ruff. There are over 10,000 pearls on the gown and forepart. My "Spanish Surcoat" based on a pattern out of Patterns of Fashion. My son is inspecting my accessories.
