An Turkestani Inspired Hat

A Pelican Bag

It's become fashionable, here in the Kingdom of An Tir, to make things (useful or otherwise) that substitute as scrolls. While I am completely appreciative of all the work that goes into a scroll, many of my scrolls either sit in the closet or have yet to even be framed. Useful things, such as bags or shields or even clothing serve the dual purpose of being a 'scroll' for an elevation and being seen when used or worn. It's not something that everyone will want but it's an interesting use for items that don't normally have a mean attached to them.

This bag is wool, lined in linen, appliqued with wool and embroidered with perl cotton. It was further embellished with metallic thread and beads..

A close-up of the embroidery, showing the beads and metallic thread.
