A Riff On Vlad The Impaler's Motif
The motif for this embroidery/applique was ripped straight from the Order of the Dragon to which Vlad the Imapaler belonged. The original is carried out in couched metallic threads, which I will try at some point.
This embroidery was done with wool thread on a wool applique. This is destined to become a bag for a friend and will probably also get some metallic bling added on in the future.
