A Largess Bag
The central motif on this bag is based on Uzbeki rams horn designs which are very ancient.
This particular bag is destined to become part of the largess for Pennsic War this year. I'm not a particular fan of purple but purchased this purple wool specifically for this project as this bag is destined to go to the Kingdom of the East.
Made from fulled wool and embroidered with cotton perl, the bag is unlined and much plainer that my usual. I really like the motif, however, and it'll appear again this year on another project.
