Another Embroidered Hat

This is certainly the year for hats. This particular hat is destined for a friend who is battling cancer. It was made with the idea that he could wear it to SCA events as well as in a modern setting.

Unlike the last hat, this one is a bit understated, with just the band appliqued and embroidered. I also used seed and round beads as embellishment.

Entirely handsewin together, I'm finding hats to be a great source for inspiration.
